Week 2

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/Mickey-goodman/sex-trafficking-united-states-children_b_812784.html

As someone who has been to several different countries and has seen a lot of poverty throughout the areas that I have been to, people don't even know about trafficking. Especially sex trafficking and how often it actually occurs in America.
When I first became aware of sex trafficking, it makes you stop and think about how bad we think that other countries have got it but then soon realize that we have all the same problems in our own back yards. We as a nation need to become more aware of what is going on around us and need to fully understand ways of preventing this type of thing from taking over our country.

  1. Brittany, I must say I completely agree with your post pertaining to sex trafficking I grew up in Eastern Europe for about 5 years, and still go back now and then to visit friends. A country called the Republic of Kosova. The population during the time I lived there was around 80% Kosovar, Albanians except in a city called Mitrovica. Where a whopping 20% consisted of primarily Serbian. The reason I am mentioning this is because the Balkans especially Kosova unfortunately specialized in it.:( Its pure evil and a shame that it occurs anywhere, but yet it unfortunately does.
In response to your comment pertaining to my post I must say that I agree with you. Exercise is important, and should definitely be utilized by everyone. Well at least America can take comfort knowing they are eating better.(:

  2. It is pure evil, and people need to know about it and what they can do to prevent it from happening even more.
I am just getting into several different groups and activities that supports women and their children who have been victims of sex trafficking, its amazing what they can do for them.
